Famous Pakistani drama actress Sawera Nadeem was born in Lahore in 1974 and brought-up in London, Karachi & Lahore. She did her O-levels from Karachi, Masters in English Literature from Kinnaird College Lahore, and higher studies in Dramatics from London. She also learned classical music for four years and she studied direction at the National School of Drama Delhi. She is the stepdaughter of Madiha Gohar and step-niece of Faryal Gohar. Pakistani drama actress Sawera Nadeem started her acting career at a young age of fifteen from theater. Her first drama was Kiran which was telecast in 1994-95 on Pakistan Television. She played the lead role in Pakistan Television drama serial Inkaar. She achieved Pakistan Television Award for Best Drama Actress’ for her performance in this serial. Sawera Nadeem has performed in plays such as Sawan and Mohabbat Ka Ek Pehar (in which she starred alongside Nadeem and played the role of a woman marrying the father of three children and the scorn she faces while trying to be their mother). These two drama serials established her as one of the more talented Pakistani actresses of her generation. She also gave a stunning performance in drama serial Shikwah, Baitiyan and Diya Jalay.

Sawera Nadeem was the presenter of Morning Masala, a morning show aired on News One TV. Lately, she was the presenter of AAJ TV’s morning show AAJ SUBH.
